Song – Artist – Album
I’ve recently been listening to songs that have a bit of a slower tempo to them, just because I’ve been trying to slow down myself and take a breather by listening to something fresh and new to me. I just stacked a list of different sounds I’ve ran into at cafes, bars, the “recommended for you” part of Youtube (that lately hasn’t been disappointing), and some recommendations from friends I’ve gotten over the past month. You’ll find a more soulful R&B sound as well as some funk and bass-driven songs to listen to on Sundays if you’re trying to chillax and light some candles at home. I’ve also finally gotten around to listening to some more Lana del Rey, simply because the cover she made of Donovan’s “Season of the Witch” was too damn good to miss in Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark. Along with that, I don’t know how I’ve fallen deep down the rabbit hole into exploring more of Brazil and Turkey’s music genres, so there’s some psychedelic rock, house, acoustic singer-songwriter styles, and hip-hop in there if you’re trying to mix it up. It’s all over the place but as it should be right? Let me know which ones you like!
