I Like Scary Movies is an interactive experience for horror fans and anyone who appreciates being able to touch things in museums. The seasonal exhibit in downtown LA actually encourages and instructs its audience on how to engage with the sculptures and leave their own mark on the art pieces ranging from paintings to full room-sized scenes assembled from all sorts of materials of renowned horror films such as The Shining, The Lost Boys, Beetlejuice, and more.

Rebuilt under each artist’s vision meant to fulfill all of scary movie fans’ nightmares into reality, the exhibit features rooms that feel like you’re at the very peak moments of cult classics and iconic films within the genre such as Pennywise’s Lair, Freddy’s Throne Room, and even experiencing the waiting room Barbara and Adam visit in order to pass on to the other side along with the rest of the recently diseased… deceased.

Though a temporary exhibit now wrapping up its last few days, based on the popularity shown all throughout different social media and support, maybe LA can expect a return, perhaps something more permanent, from the artists or something even for the next Autumn season.
